Joe Schwalb was born and raised just outside Milwaukee, WI. In High School, he auditioned for the school play and was cast as a giant cyclops. He sort of waddled around bellowing and thought, “this is pretty cool, I am going to try and do this as much as I possibly can.”
He had the great fortune to train in Viewpoints, Rhetoric, and Fitzmaurice Vocal work at the First Stage Young Company. Afterwards, Joe attended the University of Evansville to study theatre. In addition to acting, Joe took courses in Lighting Design, Carpentry, Directing, and the liberal arts! He also produced the University of Evansville’s first 24 hour play festival. Joe is currently based in New York City. He is exciting to be filming his first two Feature Films this year. He is playing Rick in Not A Good Person by Madeline McLaughlin and Vikscosity in Luna and Persia by CL Squared Productions.
Joe’s other interests include strength training, watching cartoons, and sharing with friends.
